Personal Trainer Bio/ Background
Jowana is a
native of New Orleans, and
has been living and working
as a In Home
Personal Trainer in
McDonough GA
since the
Spring of 2011. She is a
graduate of the University
of New Orleans where she
received a Bachelors of
Science in Human Performance
and Health Promotion with an
emphasis in Sports
Management.
She is also a Certified
Fitness Trainer and Group
Exercise Instructor. She has
always been very active in
Sports, and since high
school has always been a
strong advocate for sports
activities, eating properly
and living a healthy
lifestyle. For the past 8+
years she has honed in on
her dream of Building a
Fitness Empire. Throughout
her college career she
sought various volunteer
positions in coaching
through her church, her
brother’s elementary and
middle schools and upon
graduation, with a local AAU
girls’ basketball
team. Accompanying her love
for sports, her interest in
health, fitness and
nutrition, hit its peak upon
a two year deployment in
support of Operation Iraqi
Freedom.
She further educated herself
on the essentials of living
a healthy lifestyle and
began developing different
exercise programs to enhance
her fitness level both
personally and to achieve
the required physical
fitness standards of the
Army. Through this many of
her peers observed her
progress and eventually
requested her help in
pursuing the same endeavors.
Prior to Hurricane Katrina,
Jowana was the owner and
proprietor of a Fitness
Center in New Orleans. She served as the
Health and Fitness
Instructor and Panel Member
3 years in a row for the AJAMM Women’s Ministry
Conferences.
With a few changes a new and
supportive business partner,
their fitness business was
formed here in Georgia and
through it, Jowana now seeks
to further enhance the
health of the residents of
her community and the
surrounding areas.

How many sessions per week are necessary?
Three is generally a good number. It will also help your progress by including cardiovascular training on the day’s in-between your workouts. The body is at its best when moving. If you are actively participating in some sort of exercise 3-5 days per week, you will see results PERIOD!
How long will it take to see the results I want?
If you are determined to workout a minimum of 3 times per week and make small changes to your eating habits your results will be very noticeable. You will also get good results 2 times per week, but it may not be as dramatic as the process explained below.
