Bio/ Background
Hi, I am Diane and I offer Personal Training in Shadyside I would love to get started on our fitness program. I am a certified trainer, with over 20 years of experience. I specialize in nutrition counseling, core training, body sculpting and weight loss.
I am also certified in Pilates,
which is a fantastic way to sculpt lean muscle
mass while taking inches off your waistline and
build a strong foundation. Using your body
weight alone, there are hundreds of exercises to
shape and firm your body. In addition, having
worked with busy executives throughout my
career, I provide workouts that get the job done
with a minimum time commitment and maximum
results.
I believe in fitness as a lifestyle and I
believe that I can help you to have the body you
dream of! I have been in the fitness industry
since 1979, with a background in dance and
gymnastics. I have taught extensively with
classes such as Pilates, circuit training, core
training, ballroom dancing, body sculpt and my
first love, personal training. I have also
worked in some of Pittsburgh’s largest and best
spas, commercial clubs, private training studios
and corporate centers.
My approach
is thorough. After completing a fitness
assessment to determine your fitness level, I
also help all of my clients with nutritional
planning. My goal is to help them in
reaching all of their fitness goals. I
keep things fun and innovative but I get
results! I guarantee you will laugh with me but
you will achieve results with me as well!
Please give a call for your free
consultation.
I look forward to helping you achieve your fitness goals.

How many sessions per week are necessary?
Three is generally a good number. It will also help your progress by including cardiovascular training on the day’s in-between your workouts. The body is at its best when moving. If you are actively participating in some sort of exercise 3-5 days per week, you will see results PERIOD!
How long will it take to see the results I want?
If you are determined to workout a minimum of 3 times per week and make small changes to your eating habits your results will be very noticeable. You will also get good results 2 times per week, but it may not be as dramatic as the process explained below.
