Personal Trainer Bio/ Background
I have been a
personal trainer for over 23
years. I began my fitness
career as a group aerobic
instructor, teaching classes
such as step, strength
training, flexibility,
high/low impact, slide and
various other formats. I
became the aerobic director
of a club in New York a few
years later. Due to vocal
cord injury, I acquired my
first personal training
certification and started my
own business in Connecticut
in 1989. My family moved to
Florida in 1993 so that I
could help my father who was
diagnosed with Parkinson's
Disease. I set up my
personal training business
here in Tampa in 1994. I was
a runner, having completed
two New York City marathons
and other distance races,
but now I train only in the
gym.
I train in my
home. Having received a
permit through the City of
Tampa, we built a large gym
onto my home. I train all
types of clients. I have
clients with various medical
conditions such as
Parkinson's Disease,
Cerebral Palsy,
cardiovascular disease,
diabetes, arthritis,
hypertension and more. I
have doctors who refer rehab
patients to me. I have
helped to rehabilitate
injuries such as ACL
reconstructs, knee, shoulder
and rotators, spine, elbow,
ankle problems and more. I
have trained athletes in
various sports as well as
people just looking to get
fit and healthy.
I have been
married for 28 years and
have 3 grown children. I
love helping people get fit
and healthy.

How many sessions per week are necessary?
Three is generally a good number. It will also help your progress by including cardiovascular training on the day’s in-between your workouts. The body is at its best when moving. If you are actively participating in some sort of exercise 3-5 days per week, you will see results PERIOD!
How long will it take to see the results I want?
If you are determined to workout a minimum of 3 times per week and make small changes to your eating habits your results will be very noticeable. You will also get good results 2 times per week, but it may not be as dramatic as the process explained below.
